The Post-Acute Wound and Skin Integrity Council (PAWSIC) invites students, CNAs, family caregivers, and healthcare professionals to submit short, educational videos designed to inform and inspire. This is your opportunity to help others learn about wound and skin care — and join the movement for excellence in post-acute care.

Video must be 2–3 minutes (under 2.5 preferred)

Must be a PAWSIC member (Free & Paid Memberships Available)

Must mention or display PAWSIC in the content

Must include educational tips or demonstrations for patients, families, or CNAs

- Wound types (e.g., Pressure Injuries, Skin Tears, DFUs)
- Skin hygiene and positioning
- Dressing application, compression, or offloading
- Understanding drainage, infection, and healing
- Chronic disease + wound connection (diabetes, edema, etc.)
- “Did You Know?” myth-busting and health literacy tips

Educational Value: Does the video deliver helpful wound or skin care education for patients, caregivers, or clinicians?

Clarity & Communication: Is the message easy to understand, clearly spoken, and well-paced?

Creativity & Engagement: Is the presentation creative, inspiring, or memorable?

Relevance to PAWSIC’s Mission: Does the content reflect PAWSIC’s values of inter-professional collaboration, patient advocacy, and education?

Technical Quality (not judged harshly): While high production is not required, is the audio and video clear enough to follow?
